Okay, so, let me tell you about this thing I did. Saw this ad for a “high-end spa experience” in Shenzhen, and, well, curiosity got the better of me.

First off, finding the place was a mission. Ended up in some swanky hotel, all marble and mood lighting. Felt a bit out of place, you know?

Check-in Time: Got ushered into a waiting area. Comfy chairs, herbal tea, the whole nine yards. Filled out a form – allergies, pressure preferences, the usual.

Then comes the “consultation.” This lady, super calm voice, starts asking about my stress levels, sleep habits, the whole shebang. Felt like I was at a shrink’s office, not a spa.
