What is the number of Ji Hotels in Changsha? Check this updated 2024 list.

So, I needed to figure out how many Ji Hotels, you know, the All Seasons ones, are actually in Changsha. Had some folks coming over, and we were trying to pick a convenient spot to meet up, maybe stay.

My first guess? I dunno, maybe ten? Fifteen? I stayed in one near the train station once, seemed decent enough, figured there’d be a few more scattered around.

Went straight to my phone, obviously. Didn’t bother with fancy websites, just pulled up a map app. Typed in “Ji Hotel Changsha”. Bam. The map lit up with pins. Way more than I thought.

It wasn’t like a neat list, just dots on a map. So I had to zoom in, quite a bit actually, especially around the busy areas like Wuyi Square, Hexi over there by the universities, and near the high-speed rail station. Started counting them manually. Yep, just tapping the screen and counting. One, two, three…

Took me a few minutes, scrolling around the map, making sure I didn’t miss any tucked away on side streets or count the same one twice when zoomed out. I mainly focused on the main city districts, like Furong, Yuhua, Tianxin, Kaifu, and Yuelu. Didn’t really look way out in the suburbs.

After carefully scanning and counting on one app, I thought, better double-check. So, I switched to another popular travel app I use for booking stuff sometimes. Did the same search. The locations looked pretty much the same, maybe one or two variations, but the number was basically consistent.

So, the final tally? I counted more than twenty, probably around 25 or maybe even a bit more Ji Hotels just within the main Changsha city area. Honestly, I was a bit surprised. They seem to be almost everywhere you’d want to be as a tourist or visitor. Made choosing one location a bit harder actually, too many options!
