So, I ended up in Shenzhen for a couple of days, mostly for business but squeezed in a little downtime too. Needed a place to crash, and thought, why not try the Shangri-La? Heard folks talk about it, seemed like a solid choice, you know? Not looking for anything too fancy, just reliable.

Getting there was pretty straightforward. Took a taxi from the station, the driver knew it straight away, which is always a good sign.
